ReplyDeleteThanks for your query,
Competitive applicants will need to demonstrate leadership potential through a history of community contribution and if possible leadership at work. You will also need to be able to show that you are committed to South Australia. Finally you will need to be developing your leadership in a way that will contribute to the goals of the ILF. That is you will need to be working in what we call a wealth creating industry and you will need to be able to contribute to the development of an organisation with a head office in South Australia. Examples of wealth creating industries include manufacturing, metal working, mining, defence, IT, food processing, beverage making etc. Looked at another way wealth creating industries are those that don’t necessarily need to be located in South Australia. It is expected industries of that type will create job opportunities and wealth in the state that otherwise need not be here. Examples of industries that are less likely to be considered to be wealth creating in that sense are those that service the local population of South Australia, such as small retailers, lawyers, bankers, and consultants.
To access the application form you should access www.industryleaders.com.au and hover your cursor over the grants tab near the top of the page, and click on "Apply on-line" if you wish to apply on line or click "Downloads" if you prefer to apply by hard copy.
